Fall Florals

When driving around Grand Rapids with this adorable bell-sleeved maxi dress from Raga (shop-able link here) in my car I couldn't help but slam on the brakes as I passed this adorable, run down gas station.

I paired this perfect transition piece with my favorite leather jacket (seriously it's like butter) from TCEC with these platform boots from H&M. My hat unfortunately is vintage but you can shop a similar one here.

Transitions Are Hard

There's nothing worse than leaving the house in the morning, bundled in scarves and sweaters to end up sweating by noon when it suddenly is 85 degrees outside. Thanks Michigan, I love ya.

Creating an outfit comfortable enough for the morning and afternoon before even finishing a cup of coffee is a job in itself. Thankfully this chunky, slouchy knit from Free People its airy enough that I wore it on summer nights but also heavy enough to keep you warm if needed. I believe it has been discontinued but this Free People cardigan is the exact same knit and texture and is already in my shopping cart.

These pants from Pilcro and the Letterpress at Anthropology are so insanely fun. I cannot wear them without taking a video of my feet for Snapchat. Unfortunately these may be discontinued as well... bummer! But such an easy DIY if you're feeling inspired.
These booties are from Nordstrom and my sunnies are from Forever 21.

Pink and Platforms

If you know me personally you know that I seldom wear color. I'm trying to change that this season. Ok, baby steps, even this baby pink v-neck from H&M is out of my comfort zone but its seriously too soft not to wear out and about.

So you might catch on pretty quick to the fact that I have a Target addiction. I squealed in store when I saw these knock of Stella McCartney platform sneakers for 13 DOLLARS! Can you tell I'm still excited?? Unfortunately I can't for the life of me find them online to link for you guys but heres a similar pair at SheIn.com. Still just as cute!

This bag? Take a guess, I'll wait. Yup, Target again. I told you I'm obsessed! I love finding high end inspired items for a fraction of the cost. This bag looks like it could be luxurious but in reality costs less than a dinner date.

If you're addicted to Target like me I'd love to know. Maybe we could go to a shopping addiction meeting together, I don't know. Just an idea.

Neck Scarves- 5 Ways

Neck scarves are back and better than ever and I can whole-heartedly say I am obsessed. They're are countless options when it comes to styling a neck scarf but here are the 5 I keep in my style rotation:

The first being the most obvious... around the neck

Second being my favorite, go to, messy hair day fix... around the hair.

Third, tied onto your purse. Here I'm using it for a pop of print on my basic Coach satchel (which I found for less then $100 at the Coach Outlet... similar style here).

Next being the most scandalous in my opinion. Wearing neck scarves as an anklet definitely pushes the boundaries but it makes the most subtle statement and I love it.. especially if you're wearing a killer shoe like these I found at DSW.

Lastly, being worn as a bracelet. I can never find bracelets that I love. For some reason the jingling and moving on my wrist is something Im not too fond of, hence why I love this option!

The neck scarf I wore is from Target Seriously less than $10, you can't beat that. If you're like me, after reading this you're grabbing your purse to stock up, I know I did when I saw the trend coming.

Peace!
